RCD was established in 2002 by long term retail
consulting and design specialist Stewart Caddick. Being an architect by profession and building on a
lengthy career leading agencies like Portland London,
Stewart spotted the need in the Middle East for a hybrid
retail consulting and design agency that would combine
architecture and spatial design, customer journey design
and technology / digital experience enhancement under
one umbrella. RCD has been the sole retail designer for Dubai Duty Free since its inception and over the course of the past two decades has partnered with many of the regional leading
retail organizations including Emaar, Maijid Al Futtaim,
Aldar, Al Futtaim Retail as well as international brands like
Abercrombie & Fitch, Raymond Weil, Hollister and
Jumeirah Hospitality Group.
